Prepare yourself for some enchanted evening! Rodgers & Hammerstein’s epic musical romance makes its La Mirada Theatre debut! Although well known for its extraordinary score – “Some Enchanted Evening,” “Younger Than Springtime,” “Bali Ha’i,” “There’s Nothin’ Like A Dame,” and “A Wonderful Guy” – South Pacific is also a deeply felt drama. Its portrayal of Americans stationed in a foreign culture in wartime is as relevant today as when it first thrilled audiences in 1949. Don’t miss it here, in all its melodic glory!
Caitlyn can't wait to join the cast of In the Heights. From Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of the current Broadway hit Hamilton, In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood – a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. In the Heights is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.
Caitlyn will be joining the cast of Sunset Boulevard. Sunset Boulevard weaves a magnificent tale of faded glory and unfulfilled ambition. Silent movie star, Norma Desmond, longs for a return to the big screen, having been discarded by tinsel town with the advent of “talkies.” Her glamour has faded in all but her mind. When she meets struggling Hollywood screen-writer Joe Gillis in dramatic circumstances, their subsequent passionate and volatile relationship leads to an unforeseen and tragic conclusion. Based on the film noir classic by Billy Wilder that starred Gloria Swanson and William Holden, it received seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical and features some of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s most soaring melodies including, With One Look and As If We Never Said Goodbye.
Caitlyn will be spending her summer under the sea as AQUATA in Disney's The Little Mermaid! Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most beloved stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid is a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including Under the Sea, Kiss the Girl, and Part of Your World. Ariel, King Triton’s youngest daughter, wishes to pursue the human, Prince Eric, in the world above and bargains with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But, the bargain is not what it seems and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.
Caitlyn will be playing the role of Maria Delgado in 9 to 5 at San Diego Musical Theatre next year! "A hilarious musical adaptation of the seminal hit film with an upbeat score by the legendary Dolly Parton. 9 to 5 follows three female co-workers pushed the boiling point with their sexist and egotistical boss. Together these unlikely partners conspire to take control of the office and achieve the ultimate revenge. 9 to 5 is a jubilant musical about friendship and getting ahead in the Rolodex era of the late 1970s. San Diego Regional Premiere."
Like Mel Brook's monsterously funny film, the production is a parody of the horror film genre, especially the 1931 Universal Pictures adaptation of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" and its sequel, "Son of Frankenstein." In a reimagining of the famous legend, the grandson of mad scientist Victor Frankenstein inherits his family's estate in Transylvania, and with the help of his hunchbacked side-kick and leggy lab assistant, he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. The musical is filled with wickedly inspired, show-stopping production numbers such as "Puttin' on the Ritz," "Transylvania Mania" and "He Vas My Boyfriend."

See it before it goes to Broadway!
Empire is an original musical about those who bravely embodied the American spirit during the dark days of the Great Depression by building what was then the tallest structure in the world, the Empire State Building. When the roaring 20's collapsed into the reeling 30's, these industrialists, laborers and their families mortgaged all that was safe and reasonable for the dream of leaving their mark on New York City and the world.

Yet his son, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father's epic tales.
Deprived of sight, hearing and speech by the shock of what he had witnessed as a child, young Tommy Walker seems lost to life – until he reveals an uncanny talent for the game of pinball.
